Proudly headquartered in Wilmette, IL, NEWLOOK combines well over 100 years of experience with innovation, technology and a design | build project delivery approach that streamlines the entire process, providing one point of contact throughout the project, taking full responsibility and cost accountability.  NEWLOOK designs all projects in full 3D, providing interactive models with virtual and augmented reality capabilities allowing clients to fully understand and even get immersed in their project prior to construction.  These models combined with industry leading technology and online cloud based project management software allows for projects to be expedited, reducing costs while being fully transparent and updated in real time.

Michael is an award-winning designer, innovator, speaker and industry leader who brings a rare and valuable holistic approach to the AEC industry. A career that spans 20+ years combining construction experience with an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering and a Master of Architecture, Michael has designed and led projects across almost all construction types from high rise mixed use to education to luxury single family.  

Devon Lewitzke is a highly motivated and self-directed operations manager in the design-build industry, showcasing a profound expertise in project management, coordination, and the seamless implementation of processes and procedures. His career is distinguished by exemplary performance in managing accounts receivable and payable, payroll, and the onboarding processes, complemented by a robust two-year tenure in both procure-to-pay and IT project management. Devon's role at NEWLOOK Design-Build & Development has seen him excel in enhancing operational efficiencies, employee development, and fiscal management, underscoring his ability to drive projects to fruition with meticulous attention to detail and financial acumen.

His educational foundation in Business Administration, with a concentration in Digital Marketing & Human Resources from Texas A&M, paired with an Associate of Arts in Business Administration & Management from St. Philips College, perfectly complements his practical experience. Devon's career highlights include the successful integration of over 500 subcontractors and employees onto a new safety platform and illustrating his proficiency in leading cross-functional teams toward achieving shared objectives. With his skills in project management, communication, and strategic planning. Devon Lewitzke continues to make significant contributions to the construction and design-build sectors, driving innovation and efficiency.

Dave Hays brings a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of the construction industry to his role at NEWLOOK Design-Build & Development. Where he has ascended the ranks over 14 years from a laborer to a Project Manager, and now serves as the Director of Construction (DoC). His journey through the company's various operational facets has endowed him with an invaluable. Hands-on understanding of every aspect of the construction process, particularly in the realm of custom luxury single-family homes and townhomes throughout the North Shore.

Holding an Associate degree and Certification in Construction Management from Oakton Community College. Dave's academic background laid a solid foundation for his practical skills and leadership abilities. As a Project Manager, he has successfully overseen the production of dozens of high-end custom projects. Showcasing his exceptional capability in project planning, team leadership, and quality assurance. Dave's trajectory at NEWLOOK not only highlights his dedication and skill in his field but also his profound impact on creating dream homes for clients. Making him a pivotal figure in the company's continued success and reputation for excellence.

Eric Brociek  brings a wealth of hands-on experience and a passion for continuous learning to his role as an Project Manager at NEWLOOK. With an eagerness to immerse himself in both residential and commercial construction projects, Eric has quickly become an indispensable asset to the team. At NEWLOOK, he is renowned for his adeptness in managing diverse aspects of construction operations, from coordinating project activities to ensuring efficiency and quality across all phases. His commitment to clear communication and collaborative problem-solving has been pivotal in driving projects from initiation to successful completion, solidifying NEWLOOK's reputation for excellence in custom home building and general construction projects.

Before his tenure at NEWLOOK, Eric's diverse roles across the construction and mechanical fields laid the groundwork for his comprehensive understanding of the industry. From critical facilities engineering to tire service and lumber department management, Eric has honed his skills in operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and team leadership. His annual involvement with the Professional Builder/ Horizon Media's NAHB IBS Show Village Exhibit further enriched his expertise, offering him unique insights into the intricacies of construction trades and project management. Eric's educational background from Joliet Junior College and Joliet Catholic Academy, combined with his hands-on experience, underscores his holistic approach to construction management and his commitment to advancing within the field.

Rolando Murillo is a highly experienced residential construction superintendent and project manager. With over 20 years of comprehensive expertise in leading all facets of construction. Since 2022, he has been integral to Newlook Construction LLC, as a Building Superintendent, where he manages the construction operations of new custom home buildings. Ensuring productivity, quality, and safety objectives are met, while adeptly resolving constructability or design issues. Prior to NEWLOOK, Rolando spent 23 years at The Jacobs Companies in Deerfield, IL, where he excelled from an Assistant to the Superintendent to a Project Manager. Showcasing his capability to oversee multiple projects, from heavy labor tasks to the detailed coordination of subcontractors and inspections, ensuring all constructions adhere to code and high-quality standards. Rolando's career is marked by a commitment to excellence and a keen focus on delivering the NEWLOOK experience through every project phase.

Steve J. Economou, AIA, is an accomplished architect renowned for his expertise in the design and development of sports and family-entertainment centers, multi-use commercial and residential properties, and hotel, hospitality, and food-service projects. Graduating from the Illinois Institute of Technology’s College of Architecture, Steve is a respected member of the American Institute of Architects and the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards. His distinguished work has garnered multiple awards, including honors for outstanding design and historic preservation, reflecting his exceptional ability to marry functional design with aesthetic excellence.

Steve's diverse project portfolio includes the transformation of Kendall College in Chicago, the innovative design of the Edge II, Blackhawks Training Center in Bensenville, IL, and the development of the Hotel Indigo in Fort Myers, FL, among others. Each project underlines his versatility and commitment to creating spaces that resonate with their users and communities. Steve’s visionary approach and meticulous attention to detail have established him as a leader in architectural design, known for pushing the boundaries of traditional architecture to create environments that inspire and endure.

As an Architectural Designer with extensive experience at Doran Companies in Minneapolis, Dennis Garvey has honed a blend of technical proficiency, practical application, and creative problem-solving. His role has pushed him to not only devise innovative solutions but also to communicate these effectively to clients and management. With a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and a minor in Construction Management from the University of Minnesota, his academic background has laid a strong foundation for his professional journey. As he looks forward to his next role, he is eager to join a dynamic environment where his skills can thrive among talented architects and designers. He seeks a position that values interpersonal interactions, where his contributions are recognized and where he can continue to grow and challenge himself.

His career progression from an Architectural Intern to an Architectural Designer III at Doran Companies showcases his commitment to excellence and continuous learning. Leading design changes, managing project timelines, driving rendering processes with Lumion, and contributing to BIM and REVIT implementations are just a few highlights of his contributions. Beyond his technical skills, he has played a key role in training new employees and collaborating on mixed-use, multifamily, and adaptive reuse projects. His community involvement, from building homes with Habitat for Humanity to designing musical playground elements with AIAS at the University of Minnesota, reflects his passion for using architecture to enhance community spaces. Dennis is now poised to leverage his experience, creativity, and leadership skills in a challenging new role that allows him to make a meaningful impact.
